Wang Xiaoli, born in 1987 in Weifang, Shandong Province, is currently an Associate Professor, Doctoral Supervisor and Master\'s Supervisor at Xidian University. She also serves as the Deputy Director of the Discipline Innovation Intelligence Introduction Base for Fundamental Theories and Intelligent Analysis of Big Data, and a Member of the Joint Management Committee for the Chinese-foreign Cooperative Education Program.

She serves as an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence (TETCI), an international academic journal. She acts as the Chair of the Technical Program Committee of the International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Security (CIS), which has been successfully held for nearly 30 sessions and enjoys extensive influence in the fields of artificial intelligence and security. She has been honored with the titles of Young Talent of the University Association for Science and Technology of Shaanxi Province and Outstanding Contribution Supervisor of MindSpore.

She received her Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees from Xidian University in 2014. In 2016 and 2025, she worked as a government-sponsored visiting scholar at the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University respectively. She has been teaching two core courses—Artificial Intelligence and Algorithm Analysis and Design—for more than a decade, and won the Excellent Undergraduate Teaching Award. By 2026, she has supervised a total of 44 graduate students.

Her research interests focus on artificial intelligence, big data analysis and processing, cloud computing, edge computing, and large-scale resource and task scheduling. Her representative research outcomes have been published in over 60 academic papers in prestigious domestic and international journals such as IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, Neurocomputing and Pattern Recognition, as well as in international conferences. She holds 9 authorized invention patents. As a project principal, she has undertaken a number of research projects, including National Natural Science Foundation projects, Key Research and Development Program projects of Shaanxi Province, and horizontal cooperative research projects with enterprises and institutions such as Huawei, China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, China Academy of Railway Sciences, and the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi\'an Jiaotong University.
