Focus on data mining algorithms and bioinformatics

My current interest is on noncoding RNAs, focusing on developing advanced computational  bioinformatics tools for the association study between noncoding RNAs and complex diseases, including investigation the properties of noncoding RNAs (e.g. long noncoding RNAs), their biological functions and their involved roles in cancers. Systematical and integration methods are employed to answer various biological and medical questions such as for disease gene prediction, biomarker and drug-target discovery, disease mechanism, personalized medicine and meanwhile provide Bioinformatics and data analysis support for other investigators.
