Rui Li received the B.S. degree from Department of Applied Mathematics, Xidian University, Xi’an China, in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Xi\'an Jiaotong University, Xi’an China, in 2014. He worked as a visiting scholar in HKUST, Hong Kong, China, in 2012.

He is currently a Professor with School of Computer Science and Technology, Xidian University, Xi’an, China. His research interests include smart sensing, IoT, and intelligent system. He is a member of IEEE and ACM.
