Jianping Zheng was born in Xingan, Jiangxi province, P. R. China. In 2003, He received the undergraduate degree from Xidian University, Xi’an, P. R. China. In 2006 and 2008, he received the M.A. degree and the Ph.D degree from Xidian University both in telecommunications and information system.

In 2010-2011, he was a Research Fellow at the PWTC Laboratory, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He joined the School of Telecommunications Engineering, Xidian University in 2006, where he is now an associate professor.

Coded modulation and signal detection for wireless communication, with emphasize on multiple-antenna system and cooperative communication.
