Dongmei Huang mainly focuses on the response, stability and feedback control of vibro-impact system, vibration isolation system and piezoelectric energy harvesting system.

She is taking charge of five projects:

National Natural Science Foundation of China with title “Stochastic dynamics and optimal control of hybrid micro-piezoelectric cantilever energy harvesting system”,

Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities with title “Nonlinear dynamics of viscoelastic vibration isolation system under stochastic excitations”.

She has published more than 30 papers, and  is the reviewer of many journals, including “Nonlinear Dynamics”, “Probabilistic Engineering Mechanics”, “International Journal of Mechanical Sciences”, “Measurement Science and Technology”
