Introduction

Bian Wu, was born in Xianning, Hubei Province, in 1981. He received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electromagnetic fields and microwave technology from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 2004 and 2008, respectively. Since 2008, he worked with the National Key Laboratory of Antennas and Microwave Technology at Xidian University. From March 2013 to February 2014, he was a postdoctoral visitor in Queen Mary, University of London, U.K. Now he is a professor and Ph.D supervisor at Xidian University. In 2011, he was awarded excellent doctorate degree in Shaanxi Province. In 2015, he was selected for the talent program of "Huashan Scholars", and won the second prize of Shaanxi Province Science and Technology. In 2016, he was selected as a young science and technology star in Shaanxi Province. His research interests include microwave/millimeter wave devices and antennas, artificial electromagnetic materials and devices. He has taken charge of more than 10 projects, authored and co-authored more than 100 papers that published in Carbon, Scientific reports, IEEE TMTT, IEEE MWCL and other journals and coferences, have been authorized more than 10 national invention patents. He is the reviewer of many international journals including IEEE TMTT, IEEE MWCL, OE, and so on.
