Prof.Qi\'s Website

Xiaogang Qi, Ph.D., Professor and Doctoral supervisor of Xidian University, Director of  Joint Innovation Technology Center for Iintelligent Information Space,Director of Complex System Modeling and Engineering Optimization Laboratory. In December 2005, he received Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Xidian University, was elected as an associate professor in July 2006, as a professor in July 2011, and as a doctoral supervisor in Mathematics in June 2015. He mainly engages in network optimization theory and method, complex system modeling, algorithm design and analysis. From September 2012 to August 2013, he visited the cyber & Network Security Group (CNSG) of Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ), and carried out research cooperation with Professor Yanchao Zhang (http://cnsg.asu.edu/) in the field of network optimization and engineering applications. His main research directions include graph theory and combinatorial optimization, network optimization theory and method, and complex information network modeling and simulation technology. He is reviewers of Chinese Science (Series F, English Edition), IEEE communication letters, International Journal of distributed sensor networks, China Communications, and other journals.

He is the principal investigators of the National Natural Science Foundation (2019.1-2022.12, 2008.1-2010.12), the joint fund project of Ministry of Education China Mobile (2017.10-2019.4), the joint foundation of installation, development and China shipbuilding project (January 2017 to January 2019), Natural science project of Shaanxi Province (January 2015 to December 2017), Open foundation of CEMEE National Key Laboratory (Luoyang) (September 2012 to November 2014) and more than 10 scientific research projects. The relevant research results have been used in many applications, especially in the fields of operational research, optimization, network routing algorithm, network invulnerability, intelligent optimization algorithm. The above research mainly focuses on the combination of applied mathematics and engineering technology. Some basic issues in the above fields are solved by using optimization method, network algorithm, stochastic mathematics, intelligent algorithm, system modeling, and optimization theory. He has published more than 100 academic papers in important academic journals and conferences,.

He is a member of American Computer Society (ACM) (2008 - 2018), senior member of China Computer Foundations (2008M, 2016SM), senior member of China Automation Association (CAA) (2018SM), Director of Shaanxi industrial and Applied Mathematics Institute (2011 -), Review expert of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and Special funding Foundation (2013 -), special expert of special committee of China big data application Alliance (2019 -).
