No.1,   Guided the project,Research on the application of novel 100G/200G optical networks with engineering demonstration (National Key R&D Program of China with the grant 2019YFB201803605, Jan. 2020 to Dec. 2022).  The issues  to be studied are as follows:

         (1) AI-empowered network forecast 

       (2) modelling of optical communication system with up to five diversionary  objectives, and the solution of this model with many-objective  optimization algorithms

       (3) software platform for the verification of the proposed many-objective  optimization algorithms

No.2  Research on the Network Virtualization (NV) architecture and validation in converged computing-storing-transport scenario (National Key R&D Program of China, Nov. 2020 to Oct. 2023). The issues  to be studied are as follows:

  (1)  Converged Network Virtualization (NV) architecture based on the SDN, NFV, 5G network, clouding computing, etc. 

   (2) interface/protocol proposals, protocols improvement and functional enhancement between the functional modules of the proposed NV architecture.

   (3) a prototype for evaluating the proposed architecture and (new, improvement, enhancement) protocols.

  (4) intelligent network operation in network virtualized scenarios, such as intelligent configuration, VNF(SFC, VNFs-FG) prediction, distributed jointly with multi-node networked prediction. 

 (5) resource orchestration in network virtualized scenarios, such as VNF or virtual network mapping.
